Job Role & Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance :
- Experience with Egyptian Drug Authority Regulations especially with importation plans and
custom releases.
Manage import permits, import licenses, and approvals.Manage inspections, EDA audits and traceability exercises.Experience with NFSA importation regulations.Stay up-to-date with all applicable local, national, and international HSEQR regulations andlegislation.
Monitor and interpret new and emerging regulations and assess their impact on theorganization.
Ensure the organization's operations and activities comply with all relevant legal requirements.Developing and Maintaining HSEQR Management Systems :Design, implement, and maintain integrated HSEQR management systemsDevelop and update HSEQR policies, procedures, and work instructions.Ensure documentation control and record-keeping processes are effective.Risk Assessment and Management :
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments (environmental, health & safety, quality, regulatory).Identify potential hazards and develop appropriate control measures.Maintain and update risk registers and ensure effective risk mitigation strategies are in placeAuditing and Inspections :
Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal and external HSEQR audits.Perform regular workplace inspections to identify and address potential hazards and nonconformities.Ensure timely and effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.Training and Awareness :
Develop and deliver HSEQR training programs for employees at all levels.Promote a strong HSEQR culture within the organization.Ensure employees are aware of their HSEQR responsibilities and accountabilitiesIncident Investigation and Reporting :
Lead or participate in the investigation of HSEQR incidents, near misses, and non-conformities.Analyze incident data to identify root causes and implement effective preventive measures.Prepare and submit accurate and timely incident reports to relevant stakeholders.Performance Monitoring and Reporting :
Collect, analyze, and report on HSEQR performance data and key performance indicators
KPIs).
Develop and present HSEQR performance reports to management.Identify trends and areas for improvement.Stakeholder Engagement :
Liaise with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and other relevant stakeholders on HSEQRmatters.
Address HSEQR-related inquiries and concerns from internal and external parties.Quality Assurance and Control :
Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control processes.Monitor product and process quality to ensure compliance with standards.Participate in quality improvement initiatives.Expected Qualification / Education :
Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.Masters degree is preferable.ISO 9001, 14001 auditor certificationsWork Experience :
Minimum two years of progressive experience in HSEQR compliance roles within
pharmaceutical industry.
Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining HSEQR management
systems (., ISO standards).
Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
