Senior Accountant

الوصف الوظيفيManage daily accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and inventory management. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company-specific requirements. Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and filing of VAT returns, leveraging expertise in VAT exemptions and regulations related to port activities. Lead the preparation for audits, liaise with external auditors, and effectively address audit findings. Strengthen and enforce financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity. Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team to enhance skills, performance, and operational excellence. Support senior management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform operational and strategic decisions. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience. Prior experience in logistics or freight forwarding companies is a must. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with Odoo. Comprehensive knowledge of Egyptian tax laws, particularly VAT and customs regulations. driver’s license. Exceptional leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and organizational skills.
