Job Description
Job Purpose :
Responsible for supporting the actuarial team in performing various valuation and analysis tasks. This role involves validating system-generated data, calculating reserves and reinsurance entries, and preparing regulatory reports. The analyst will also contribute to product development, pricing, and risk management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities :
- Validate the accuracy and completeness of data used in actuarial calculations.
- Maintain and enhance actuarial models and systems.
- Calculate monthly reserves and reinsurance entries.
- Contribute to the assessment of the company's solvency position.
- Conduct regular experience studies to assess the accuracy of actuarial assumptions.
- Prepare model points and analysis to support product development and pricing decisions.
- Prepare quarterly and annual regulatory reports.
- Document work processes and procedures to ensure consistency and transparency.
- Assist other areas of the business with actuarial projects and analysis.
Skills
Education / Certifications :
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.Pursue actuarial qualifications and maintain professional knowledge is necessary.Job Qualifications :
Strong knowledge of insurance productsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced knowledge of Excel and other data analysis tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong understanding of insurance principles and financial accounting.Soft Skills & Behavioral Competencies :
