Senior AP Accountant

ABOUT THE ROLE :

As a  Senior AP Accountant , you will take full ownership of the Accounts Payable cycle. Your responsibilities will include managing invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations while ensuring accurate and timely financial operations. You will work cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, and other internal teams to keep things running smoothly .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Accounts Payable Operations :

Manage the full AP cycle, including invoice processing, approvals, and timely payments

Perform three-way match (invoice, purchase order, and receipt) to ensure accuracy

Process both local and international supplier invoices, ensuring alignment with purchase orders and shipment documents

Maintain records of import / export AP transactions, including customs duties, freight charges, and related taxes

Own and manage the E-Invoice Tax Portal

Reconcile AP ledger accounts and perform vendor confirmation balances

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies

Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting

Assist in preparing documentation for external audits

Monitor AP aging and ensure timely vendor payments and relationship management

YOU HAVE :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably with AP / AR focus.

Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Understanding of cost allocation principles.

Knowledge of VAT and withholding tax submission processes
