Job Purpose
To support the growth and development of the pharmaceutical business in the designated region by
promoting and selling IMCD’s portfolio of pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients. The Junior Sales
Manager will collaborate with customers and principals to provide technical support, manage existing
accounts, and drive new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales and Account Management
Support in managing a defined customer portfolio and actively grow sales with existing
and new accounts.
Assist in achieving sales targets and KPIs for the pharma segment.
Prepare and follow up on customer quotations, contracts, and supply agreements.
Customer & Market Development
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in line with IMCD’s strategy.
Support business development initiatives by conducting customer visits, product
presentations, and technical discussions.
Collect and analyze market intelligence, customer needs, and competitor activity.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and principals, ensuring alignment with their
needs and expectations.
Supplier & Product Coordination
Act as a liaison between IMCD's principals and local customers.
Ensure timely communication and follow-up on inquiries, samples, pricing, and product
documentation.
Stay updated on the technical features and benefits of the product portfolio.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams including Customer Service, Marketing, Regulatory
Affairs, and Supply Chain.
Maintain accurate records in the CRM system (., Salesforce).
Prepare monthly reports and contribute to sales forecasting and planning.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in pharma sales, technical sales, or B2B business development
is a plus.
Skills and Competencies :
Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and formulation ingredients.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commercial acumen and customer-oriented mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
Self-motivated, well-organized, and eager to learn.
Fluent in English and [insert local language, ., Arabic]
