Social Media Specialist

Job Description

Develop and execute social media strategies focused on growth and engagement, especially for Instagram and TikTok.

Create engaging content (images, videos, Reels, stories, captions) tailored to each platform.

Monitor trends, hashtags, and viral content to keep the brand relevant and up to date.

Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and brand messaging.

Analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers, etc.) and optimize strategies accordingly.

Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build a loyal community.

Stay updated on social media algorithms, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.

1–3 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts, especially Instagram and TikTok.

Strong understanding of platform algorithms, video content trends, and digital storytelling.

Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics).

Creative mindset with strong communication and copywriting skills.

Basic photo / video editing skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, etc.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
