Job Description

Job Purpose :

The Level 1 Support Engineer focuses on first-line support for ERP-related inquiries and configurations. This role works closely with business and operational teams to assist with system usage and identify the root cause of configuration-related issues.

What will you do in your role

Key Responsibilities :

  • Respond to queries and technical issues via chat or ticketing systems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our teams configure our ERP based on each business's needs.
  • Guide teams on how to configure ERP settings to align with specific business requirements.
  • Investigate inconsistencies in financial ledgers to identify the root causes.
  • Effectively triage the type of issue - misconfiguration, retraining, or software bug - and report it to Level 2 support or relevant development teams as needed.
  • Document problems and solutions accurately, clearly, and in a timely manner within the ticketing system.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Computer Science
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts
  • 1+ years of experience in a support role in SAAS or Cloud-based ERP
  • Excellent Communication Skills
