Key Responsibilities :

Financial Leadership :

  • Lead and manage the finance team across multiple properties or business units.
  • Develop and implement financial strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior management.

Financial Planning and Analysis :

  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Provide variance analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
  • Financial Reporting :

  • Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and local tax regulations.
  • Present financial reports to the board and executive team.
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management :

  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.
  • Optimize working capital and investment strategies.
  • Cost Control and Operational Efficiency :

  • Collaborate with operations teams to manage costs without compromising service quality.
  • Identify and implement financial controls and process improvements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management :

  • Ensure adherence to legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee audits and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Assess and manage financial risks.
  • Technology and Systems :

  • Drive automation and improvements in financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Ensure systems are scalable and fit for purpose.
  • Qualifications and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of financial leadership experience, ideally in the hospitality, hotel, or tourism sector.
  • Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and team leadership.
  • Experience working with property management systems (e.g., Opera, MICROS, or similar) and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
