Job description
- Reviewing MEP system and equipment related construction documents and auditing contractors and
subcontractors deliverables for quality and adherence to specifications, budgets and schedules
Liaising and attending coordination meetings with client, contractors, consultants, construction manager and other key at the sites of construction to solve technical issues and other related mattersUndertaking general project site observation and inspections of the mechanical services works for contractors adherence to the approved shop drawings and clients specification, good working practices and construction scheduleReviewing all aspects of site preparation and temporary works construction onsite for conformance with contract documentsEnforcing the relevant safety rules at site and monitoring all aspects of the work for compliance with security, health and safety requirementsTaking part in risk workshops and reporting any risks associated with MEP installationsContinually review the contractors construction schedule during the progress of site works with regards to MEP services and helping to resolve any program delaysMonitoring progress of the work for verification of progress payments and scheduleConducting daily briefing with site team leaders to follow-up and report on the work progress in order to anticipate any possible delays with regards to planned tasksTaking immediate corrective action to avoid any cumulative effect of such deviation and recover the delay to finish the task in due timeAssisting the Project Manager in the supervision and management of construction activities to assigned projectAssisting in the planning and sequencing of the construction operations according to the Project Quality PlanConducting regular inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractorsEvaluating and resolving any discrepancies and problems arising during construction which affect the quality of works performedHelping to prepare the MEP section of the monthly progress reportsProfile
