Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations & Performance Management
Own and oversee financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery in line with global and local standards.
Drive cost accuracy and strong financial controls, ensuring correct estimations, job costing, and reporting.
Take full accountability for financial performance management, KPIs, and service controls.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of business results.
Leadership & Team Management
Directly lead a team, ensuring strong performance, task follow-up, and engagement.
Act as an active mentor, pushing team members to excel and fostering professional growth.
Provide leadership beyond direct reports by collaborating with other finance teams to maintain accurate financial reporting.
Own the financial performance of the country, ensuring figures are reported correctly and on time.
Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management
Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and capacity optimizations.
Manage multiple stakeholders across different countries, seniority levels, and functions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Agile methodologies and project management experience.
Ensure compliance with internal audits, owning mitigation measures and corrective actions.
What We Are Looking For
Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of leadership experience, directly managing teams.
Strong background in financial operations within supply chain, retail, or shipping industries.
Hands-on experience in project management, process improvement, or Agile methodologies (a plus ).
Technical Skills :
Strong financial acumen with expertise in Excel (formulas, data analysis, financial reporting).
SAP experience is a must ; proficiency in other ERP systems is a plus .
Soft Skills & Competencies :
Strong stakeholder management skills, handling diverse seniorities and functions across multiple countries.
Highly structured, analytical, and detail-oriented.
Proven ability to drive engagement, mentor team members, and ensure task follow-up.
Fluent in English (a must); Arabic as a mother tongue.
