Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
Update the project drawing log before sending the project drawing to the consultant for approvals.
Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
Review sub-contractors’ project drawings as well as outsourced project drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures.
coordinate between consultants, external agencies, contractors, property owners and other utility services for assigned projects.
Coordinate office staff for all administrative works that include processing and reviewing of progress payments for contractors.
Coordinate, review and assess contract submittals.
Attend meetings with consultants, contractors, suppliers & client representatives as needed.
Responsible for reviewing structure & MEP drawings and technical coordination between all disciplines.
Work closely with other related technical / non-technical departments to ensure the best output (production, warehouse, design, procurement, sales, finance, operations, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering
5 : 10 Years’ experience in Technical office role.
Proven experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Strong ability to coordinate with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
Experience in quantity surveying and verifying BOQs for accuracy.
Strong collaboration skills for working with the design team and ensuring timely submissions.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and preferably Primavera or MS Project.
