Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic and digital initiatives across the organization. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership, and a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management, experience leading cross-functional teams, and a commitment to delivering results on time, within scope, and on budget. As a key contributor, the Project Manager will ensure strategic alignment, foster stakeholder collaboration, and drive operational excellence through effective governance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project owners and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements aligned with organizational goals.
- Translate stakeholder needs into actionable project deliverables and success criteria.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables with senior leadership.
- Develop project charters and governance frameworks to guide execution.
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate internal / external resources for smooth execution.
- Maintain a project register and update the Project Management Information System (PMIS) to monitor progress.
- Create and maintain project schedules, WBS, risk logs, and issue trackers.
- Monitor performance, identify variances, and apply corrective actions.
- Provide regular stakeholder updates through reports, presentations, and dashboards.
- Manage expectations and maintain proactive communication with all stakeholders.
- Address concerns and handle change requests with proper impact assessment and approval.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Conduct post-project reviews to assess outcomes and capture lessons learned.
- Prepare final reports, handover documents, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Ensure all projects align with organizational strategy and contribute to long-term goals.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience : 2–3 years in project management or coordination, preferably in dynamic or multi-stakeholder environments.
- Methodologies : Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management approaches.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership : Proven ability to lead teams and drive accountability.
- Planning : Strong skills in schedule creation, resource management, and budgeting.
- Certifications : PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or SAFe Agilist.
- Sector Experience : NGO / non-profit or mission-driven organizations.
- Digital Exposure : Experience in digital transformation, ERP, or IT systems implementation.
- Tools : Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, Primavera.
- Process Improvement : Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or change management.
- Reporting : Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel analytics.
