As a Principal BIM Engineer - Architectural, you will play a critical role in the development and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for architectural projects. Your responsibilities will include preparing architectural models, ensuring coordination between structural and architectural plans, and resolving any conflicts within the BIM model. Additionally, you will ensure that all models adhere to BIM standards and technical guidelines.

Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas :

BIM Model Preparation :

Participate in the preparation of BIM models for various buildings.
Ensure that structural drawings align with architectural plans.

Conflict Detection and Resolution :

Identify and resolve clashes and issues within the assigned BIM model.

Ensure that the BIM model complies with standard BIM technical guidelines.

Model Coordination :

Coordinate and integrate BIM models from different disciplines, including MEP and structural engineering.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure all models are up-to-date and accurately reflect project requirements.

Quality Assurance :

Conduct regular reviews of BIM models to ensure accuracy and adherence to project standards.

Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in all BIM deliverables.

Documentation and Reporting :

Prepare detailed BIM documentation and reports for project stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records of all BIM activities and updates.

Training and Support :

Provide training and support to junior BIM engineers and other team members.

Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and methodologies to enhance team capabilities.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes :

Bachelor's degree in Architectural engineering. (Accumulative Grade must not be less than Good).

7 - 9 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination, with a focus on architectural projects.

Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

Strong understanding of BIM standards and technical guidelines.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable.

Professional certification in BIM or related field is a plus.
