Senior Data Testing Engineer

Responsibilities :

• Participate in all stages of the QA project lifecycle, including developing test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Perform Database / Data Warehouse / ETL Testing, including validation of data across ODS, DataMart, and other database environments.
• Design and execute SQL scripts to test complex data models, transformations, and data pipelines.
• Review and analyze business and technical requirements to ensure data accuracy.
• Validate the performance of data transformations, ETL processes, and Data Quality rules.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data architects to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Perform defect management, including identifying, documenting, and resolving defects using tools like JIRA, TFS, or ALM.
• Engage in test automation for backend data systems using Stored Procedures, Java, Python, or associated frameworks.
• Ensure test activities are aligned with Agile development cycles, including participation in sprints, stand-ups, and other Agile processes.
