Key Process Knowledge
The consultant must demonstrate expertise in the following areas :
Organizational Management (OM) – Enterprise structure, positions, jobs, and reporting relationships.
Personnel Administration (PA) – Employee lifecycle processes (hire-to-retire), employee master data, contracts, and benefits.
Time Management – Work schedules, attendance, absence management, leave quotas, and time evaluation.
Payroll – Payroll schema, rules, wage types, deductions, statutory compliance, and off-cycle payroll.
Compensation Management – Pay structure, benefits, bonuses, and rewards administration.
Learning & Development (L&D) – Training management, skills tracking, and employee development planning.
Talent Management – Recruitment, performance management, succession planning, and career development.
ESS / MSS (Employee & Manager Self-Service) – Portal and Fiori apps for HR self-services.
Integration – SAP HCM with Finance, SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll Control Center, and external payroll / benefits providers .
Compliance – Local labor laws, tax rules, reporting, and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct requirements gathering workshops with HR and business stakeholders.
Configure SAP HCM modules covering OM, PA, Time, Payroll, and Talent Management .
Support ESS / MSS implementations to enable HR digitalization.
Collaborate with SAP SuccessFactors consultants for hybrid HCM landscapes.
Design integration points with Payroll, Finance, and third-party HR solutions.
Provide user training, documentation, and change management support.
Lead payroll testing and parallel runs to ensure accurate and compliant payroll execution.
Deliver statutory and compliance reports (social insurance, taxation, labor laws).
Optimize HR processes through automation, workflows, and Fiori applications .
Provide post-go-live support and enhancements .
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or Information Systems.
SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP HCM (ERP) and / or SAP SuccessFactors (preferred).
Experience
7–10 years of SAP HCM experience with full lifecycle implementations .
Strong expertise in Payroll, Time, and Personnel Administration .
Hands-on experience with integration to SAP SuccessFactors and Finance .
Experience in multi-country payroll implementations (preferred).
Technical & Functional Skills
Deep configuration knowledge in OM, PA, Time, Payroll, and ESS / MSS .
Knowledge of SAP Payroll Control Center and Fiori apps .
Experience with compliance reporting and statutory payroll rules .
Familiarity with cloud integration middleware (e.g., CPI, PI / PO).
Soft Skills
Strong stakeholder management with HR business teams .
Analytical problem-solving skills for HR / payroll issues .
Effective communicator with ability to explain HR processes in business terms .
Strong focus on data accuracy, compliance, and user adoption .
