Role Summary

Act as an expert in the field of operation and maintenance on Electrified Train, The High-SPEED Train Project. You will be responsible of the operability and maintainability follow-up of the Transportation system (sub-systems, equipment ...) provided by the Contractor, and to ensure the compliance with the contract’s requirements during all the projects phases. To target for the project the highest international standard of railway systems.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following :

• Lead the general consultant’s activities related to operation and maintenance of the high speed line
• Act as an Operation and Maintenance expert within the consultant team, advising about the Operability and Maintainability of sub-systems (E&M, Signaling, Track, Civil work, Rolling stock, Communication, External stake holders…).
• review operational and maintenance submissions of contractors
• support the client in defining the obligations of the O&M contractor
• review the requirements defined by the O&M contractor
• review the operation and maintenance plans for the suitability of the system to passenger service
• manage relations with the O&M contractor and the interface with the construction contractor
• Manage the pre-operation test activities and the prerequisites to revenue service
• Review the O&M’s organization and activities
• Showing privacy in the way to communicate with the different stakeholders
• Setting-up workshop and meetings with the contractors to highlight the gaps, to help in finding and challenge the solutions, and to ensure the timing and schedule of submissions
• During the Defect Liability period, assess and control the quality of Service delivered by Operation & Maintenance Entity against the performance criteria.
