Digitization Engineer - I

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or any relevant technical field.
• 1 - 3 years of relevant Industrial Automation
• Mandatory experience with AVEVA System Platform
• Proficiency in PLC programming and SCADA systems
• Experience in the full project lifecycle : Installation, Commissioning, Migrations, Maintenance, Troubleshooting, FAT, and SAT
• Strong knowledge of industrial Communication protocols ( OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, etc. )
• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams like P&IDs and Flow Charts, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Boolean Logic diagrams, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees at different levels of the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must have the demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as both a leader and an individual contributor.
• Ability to quickly establish good working relationships with others from all levels.
• Ability to travel for routine, short duration (one to two weeks) project meetings, training, and other business events.
• Ability to travel for temporary assignments (domestic and international) away from Cairo Office (e.g. customer project sites.) Typical travel assignments range from two to six months at a time or 10% to 75% of the total time per year. Travel for extended assignments greater than one year is possible. (In some cases, periodic return trips home are available during travel assignments.)

Preferred Qualifications

• AVEVA Application Developer Certifications.
• VB and scripting language experience
• SQL and relational database experience
• C, C#, C++ or .NET programming experience
• Integration using different APIs.
