Warehouse Supervisor

Receiving and storage operations :

• Inspect incoming materials and goods for compliance with specifications.
• Organize materials in designated storage areas based on their type.
• Maintain safe storage conditions, ensuring proper temperature, humidity, and ventilation.

Inventory Management Responsibilities :

• Monitor inventory movements and update records regularly.
• Set minimum inventory levels and place purchase orders as needed.
• Generate regular reports on inventory status and identify damages or expired items.
• Organize and conduct monthly inventory assessments.
• Supervise inventory disbursement.

Operation :

• Coordinate material distribution to departments based on approved orders.
• Verify the validity of disbursement documents and required signatures.
• Maintain organized records of disbursement activities.
• Handle returns and ensures their integrity.

Safety and Security Management :

• Implement safety procedures in warehouses.
• Monitor loading and unloading operation for worker and goods safety.
• Ensure fire-fighting equipment is available and functional.

Work Team Management :

• Assign tasks to warehouse staff.
• Train new employees on work procedures.
• Monitor employee performance.

Coordinate with the Movement Officer :

• Maintain ongoing communication to schedule goods receipt and delivery.
• Monitor vehicle availability based on material nature and size.
• Ensure timely preparation of materials for shipment.
• Organize truck arrival times to prevent loading areas congestion.
• Prepare daily reports on incoming and outcoming materials movement with the movement department.
