import and foreign purchasing specialist

Plan, organize, and manage international and local procurement and logistics activities

Coordinate import operations, including booking shipments, preparing documentation, and managing customs clearance

Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to track and expedite shipments

Ensure compliance with import / export laws and regulations

Work closely with suppliers to confirm orders, negotiate terms, and resolve issues

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock availability

Analyze supply chain data and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement

Maintain accurate records of purchases, shipments, and vendor performance

Coordinate with finance for timely payments, cost tracking, and budgeting
