Job Description
- Lead fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and solution workshops with Finance stakeholders (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Tax, Intercompany, Consolidations, Budgeting).
- Produce Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and process flows that translate business requirements into D365 Finance solutions.
- Configure D365 Finance modules, features, and workflows following Microsoft best practices.
- Partner with technical teams to design extensions where needed while prioritizing standard capabilities.
- Define and validate data migration (charts of accounts, vendors, customers, opening balances, fixed assets).
- Support or specify integrations with external systems via standard frameworks / APIs; align with Power BI / Management Reporter for financial reporting.
- Plan and execute cut over (mock runs, reconciliations), lead go-live, and provide hyper-care and stabilization.
- Drive continuous improvement : periodic release assessments, backlog refinement, and optimization.
- Maintain solution documentation, SOPs, and control matrices; align with audit & compliance requirements).
- Mentor junior consultants, support pre-sales (demos, estimates, SoW inputs) as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related discipline.Experience : from 3 to 7 years implementing Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance, including multiple full life-cycle projects.Finance Expertise : Strong grounding in multi-entity / multi-currency environments, tax, periodic close, and consolidation.Product Expertise : Deep configuration knowledge across GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Tax, Intercompany, Consolidations, familiarity with Management Reporter / Power BI for financial reporting.Delivery : Proven track record in fit-gap, FDDs, testing / UAT, data migration, cut-over planning, and post-go-live support.Certification : Microsoft Certified – Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310) highly preferred preferably in the retail industry (Nice to Have).Exposure to Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) and Azure DevOps / LCS for ALM and work management.Industry experience (e.g., multi-company, project accounting, manufacturing, distribution, or regulated industries).Experience coordinating with external auditors and supporting internal controls / SOX.Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Finance modules).Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure DevOps (backlog, tests, pipelines), Power BI / Management Reporter.Familiarity with integration patterns (Dataverse, OData, APIs, middleware).Requirements
