Product Owner

As a Product Manager, you will lead the development and execution of the digital waste management platform. You will combine product management expertise with strong project management skills to ensure efficient team coordination, timely delivery, and alignment with the organization's sustainability goals.

key responsibilities :

• Define the product vision and roadmap in alignment with mission to digitize waste management.
• Identify market trends, user needs, and industry regulations to inform product development.
• Engage with waste pickers, collection centers, recyclers, and other stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements.
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and shared understanding.
• Oversee the design and development of the mobile application, back-end systems, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with UX / UI designers to ensure user-friendly interfaces for diverse user groups.
• Plan, track, and manage the execution of product development initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones and goals.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, keeping stakeholders informed.
• Partner with operations teams to understand waste management workflows and identify automation opportunities.
• Drive the development of features that enhance waste traceability, reporting, and compliance.
• Define KPIs to measure product and project success, including operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
• Analyze user feedback and system data to continuously improve product performance.
• Ensure the product complies with industry standards and local regulations for waste management.
• Develop reporting tools to support clients in achieving sustainability goals and legal compliance.
