Job descriptionBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control or financial analysis, preferably in the construction or engineering sectors. Strong understanding of cost control principles and procedures. Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus. Previous experience in the hospitality industry is required.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee project spending and analyze financial data to reduce costs.
- Prepare and sustain precise cost reports throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to the budgeting process by offering detailed cost analysis and forecasts.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure adherence to cost targets.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in project costs by liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Review contracts and agreements to confirm adherence to cost structures.
- Aid in the creation of monthly financial forecasts and evaluations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of procurement processes and suggest improvements.
- Provide training and support on cost control procedures to team members.
- Consistently report on financial status and variances to the management team.
- Implement and uphold efficient cost control policies and procedures.
