Role Summary :

As the QA Director at SOAR, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and scaling a team of quality assurance professionals. You will define and implement comprehensive QA strategies, ensuring our mission-critical applications are robust, reliable, and performant. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives under pressure, can track progress with precision, and makes timely, effective decisions that directly impact our success

Key responsibilities :

• Team Leadershi p : Lead, manage, and mentor a team of QA engineers to increase overall productivity and output. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Strategy & Proces s : Develop and execute a scalable QA strategy, defining best practices and processes across the entire software development lifecycle.
• Progress Trackin g : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track team progress, project health, and product quality. Report on these metrics to leadership on a regular basis.
• Decision-Makin g : Make quick, informed, and correct decisions under pressure, ensuring that quality gates are maintained without hindering release schedules.
• Quality Assuranc e : Oversee the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for our web and mobile applications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboratio n : Work closely with product management, engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is a shared responsibility and is integrated into every stage of development.
• Risk Managemen t : Proactively identify potential quality risks and create mitigation plans to ensure the stability of the application.
