Role : Django Developer & AI Integration Engineer (Part-Time, Remote)

We’re seeking a talented Django developer with AI experience to join our team. You'll help build and maintain backend systems, integrate AI capabilities, and collaborate with frontend developers to deliver seamless, accessible solutions.Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable APIs using Django and Django REST Framework
Integrate AI services (OpenAI, OCR, NLP, image captioning) into backend workflows
Support frontend integration and cloud services (Firebase, AWS, etc.)
Ensure performance, security, and database integrity
Contribute to the development of accessibility-focused features

Minimum 2 years of experience using Django.

Strong experience with Django, DRF, and RESTful API development

Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming

Hands-on experience with AI / ML APIs (vision, OCR, NLP)

Familiar with frontend concepts and API integration

Comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase, GCP)

Strong debugging, communication, and Git version control skills

Experience in accessibility or assistive tech is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
