Job Description
Supplier Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across various categories including marketing materials, spare parts, consumables, agencies, contractors, and equipment.
Cost Negotiation : Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost without compromising quality.
Order & Delivery Follow-up (OTIF) : Ensure timely processing and delivery of orders to avoid operational downtime.
Quality Assurance : Coordinate with end users and quality teams to ensure materials meet required standards.
Compliance : Ensure procurement activities align with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
Market Research : Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and innovations to support strategic purchasing decisions.
Reporting & Documentation : Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory; prepare regular performance reports.
Logistics Coordination : Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and storage of materials.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
Minimum of 3–4 years of experience is required for this role
Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
Experience with ERP applications like Oracle & SAP and systems like Microsoft SharePoint.
Familiarity with the lubricating oil industry and relevant nontrade material requirements
