Identify and analyze faults in machinery, documenting daily breakdown details and timings for inclusion in daily and monthly reports.Investigate the underlying causes of equipment issues to implement effective measures that minimize downtime.Schedule and execute routine maintenance tasks, monitor outcomes from the Departmental Operations Meeting (DOM), and follow up on weekly operational results.Assist the section head with daily maintenance activities and coordination.Analyse monthly departmental expenses related to spare parts and fabrication and manage maintenance costs efficiently.Respond promptly to unplanned issues and repairs, ensuring timely resolution of emergencies.Generate inventory requests to maintain adequate stock levels for future maintenance needs, including critical spare parts and safety stock.Create and schedule preventive maintenance tasks using the SAP PM module, defining the frequency of each task.Manage the execution of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) systems, including adherence to protocols and weekly reporting.Carry out maintenance activities using safe and environmentally responsible methods.Engage actively in emergency drills and safety practices.Qualifications
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- 3 years of plant maintenance experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience, motor controls and HVAC
Technical Skills
- Experience in plant maintenance, troubleshooting of electro-mechanical devices.
Experience in MCC design, motor controls, actuators, pneumatics, hydraulics and frequency drives.
