Job description

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a ⁠⁠⁠SAP PS Consultant for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services.

This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.

Responsibilities :

  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to project management processes.
  • Design, configure, and customize the SAP PS module to align with business needs and best practices. This includes defining project structures (WBS, networks, activities), cost planning, budgeting, resource management, scheduling, and progress analysis.
  • Perform system configuration and ensure seamless integration of the SAP PS module with other relevant SAP modules such as FI / CO, MM, SD, and potentially others like PP and HCM.
  • Develop and maintain project-related documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
  • Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to end-users on SAP PS functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SAP PS module in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and maintain project reports and dashboards to provide insights into project performance.
  • Participate in system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP PS updates, trends, and best practices, and recommend system enhancements as needed.
  • Collaborate with ABAP developers on custom developments and enhancements related to SAP PS.
  • Participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the SAP PS module.
  • Potentially lead small to medium-sized SAP PS related projects or work streams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP PS implementation, configuration, and support.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP PS master data, project definitions, WBS elements, networks, activities, costing, budgeting, and settlement processes.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with integration of SAP PS with other SAP modules (FI / CO, MM, SD preferred; PP, HCM a plus).
  • Proven track record of successful SAP PS implementations or significant involvement in SAP PS projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business users and technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
