Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented  CAD / Technical Documentation Specialist  to develop and maintain high-quality technical drawings and documentation for  ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems , including  security, AV, CCTV, and structured cabling . The ideal candidate will have strong  AutoCAD / SolidWorks skills , experience in  ELV design , and the ability to produce  Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematics, and tender-compliant documentation . You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accuracy, optimize design efficiency, and maintain compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities :

CAD Design & Drafting :

  • Prepare and review  detailed technical drawings  for  ELV systems  (CCTV, access control, AV, networking, etc.).
  • Develop  Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematics, and layout plans  for low-voltage systems.
  • Maintain and update  standard design libraries  to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with  industry standards  (ISO, ANSI, NEC) and  project specifications .

Technical Documentation & Compliance :

  • Create, modify, and maintain  tender-compliant technical documentation , including :

    • o   System schematics

    o   Installation guidelines

    o   As-built drawings

    o   Bill of Materials (BOM)

  • Collaborate with  engineers and project teams  to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
  • Organize and archive project documents for future reference.

    • Project Coordination & Quality Control :

  • Manage multiple project drawings while adhering to deadlines.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure  error-free, standardized outputs .
  • Support engineering teams by integrating technical data into final project deliverables.

    Qualifications & Skills :

    Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering , ICT, Architecture, or a related field .
  • 3+ years  of experience in  CAD drafting & technical documentation , preferably in  ELV / security / AV systems .

    • Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency in CAD software  (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar).
  • Experience with  document editing tools  (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam).
  • Ability to interpret  engineering sketches, schematics, and tender documents .
  • Familiarity with  ELV systems  (CCTV, ACS, AV, networking, fire alarm, etc.).

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong attention to detail  and ability to produce  error-free documentation .
  • Organizational skills  to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset  to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Quick learner  with the ability to adapt to new technologies and standards.

    • Preferred Qualifications (Bonus) :

  • Certification in  AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM .
  • Knowledge of  BIM (Building Information Modeling)  workflows.
  • Experience with  ISO documentation standards .
