Job description

Plan, prepare, and deliver science lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.

Simplify complex scientific concepts to suit the age and level of students.

Design experiments, activities, and demonstrations to enhance learning.

Assess, record, and report on students’ progress through assignments, tests, and observations.

Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.

Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning styles and needs.

Collaborate with other teachers and staff on cross-disciplinary projects and school events.

Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and behavior.

Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school development activities.

Stay updated with the latest teaching methods, science education trends, and curriculum changes.

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science).

Teaching certificate or license is preferred.

Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and the ability to explain them clearly.

Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.

Proficient in using educational technology and digital teaching tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.

Fluent in English (if teaching in an English-language curriculum).

Passion for education and continuous professional development.
