Brief Description :
The Education Team at San3a Tech is seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Learning Design, officer to join our innovative and dynamic team. At San3a Tech, we focus on creating comprehensive, cutting-edge educational experiences that empower the next generation of makers and innovators. This position plays a critical role in designing and developing engaging curricula, instructional materials, and educational Kits for our education programs and products such as Maker Diploma, Girls Make, and Maker Classroom.
Responsibilities :
Learner Analysis – Lead and implement a data-driven strategy for assessing learner needs and goals, integrating insights to enhance instructional programs.
Learning Experience Design – Design learning experiences including defining learning goals, designing learning journeys, and creating modules’ structure
Content Development – Develop instructional materials and lead others to ensure quality and alignment with learning objectives.
Assessment Development – Define and create assessment tools, criteria, and rubrics and lead others to ensure validity and reliability
Kits and BOM Development – Lead the design while actively developing educational kits, managing BOM, and overseeing logistics for effective implementation.
Quality Assurance – Perform quality assurance to maintain instructional excellence, evaluating and refining content, delivery, and impact.
Instructional Coordination – Lead, guide, and support instructors during the implementation of education projects by providing required training, learning materials orientation, and progress follow-up
Training and Instruction – facilitate and deliver instructional sessions and trainings as required within educational programs and products
Stackholder and Partner Engagement - Act as the node of contact with key stakeholders and partners
Requirements
Technical Qualifications
Experience : 4 to 6 years of instructional design and / or curriculum development in Engineering and Technology fields
Education : BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field
Mastery in makerspace prototyping equipment : laser cutters, 3d printers, vinyl cutters… etc
Mastery in 2D and 3D computer-aided design (CAD)
Mastery in electrical and electronic circuit design and making
Mastery in Software / Hardware programming (e.g. C, C++, Python, Arduino C… etc.)
Mastery of instructional design and educational content development
Mastery in E-learning design, script writing, and storyboarding is preferred
Proficieny in English language reading and writing skills
A good record of instructional projects and curricula (preferably with evidence of prototyping and developing supporting tools such as hardware kits, software tools, or teaching models / aids)
