Job descriptionProcurement ResponsibilitiesReceive PRs and procure requested materials, ensuring on-time delivery within set budgetsSource local and foreign suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality, and logistical expensesConduct regular market surveys to obtain the best prices and evaluate supplier performancePrepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs) based on technical department requirementsCompare received offers technically, financially, and in terms of delivery time; summarize and present recommendations to managers to support decision-makingNegotiate with suppliers to ensure items meet required specifications and favorable termsIssue purchase orders and execute the purchasing process according to approved POsFollow up on PO status from signing to delivery and Q.C. approval, within agreed deadlinesReview supplier invoices to ensure accurate payment, follow up on credits, terms, and resolve any issuesEvaluate supplier performance based on material quality, payment and delivery terms, negotiation flexibility, and contract complianceCoordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and availability of productsEnsure a proper documentation cycle is maintainedPrepare reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and price forecastsKeep records of all purchased and received orders and provide necessary reports as requiredEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (mandatory)1 to 3 years of relevant experience as a Procurement Engineer or in a related fieldSkills and CompetenciesProven excellent technical skillsExcellent command of the English languageStrong negotiation and networking skillsSolid judgment and decision-making abilities
