Description
- Supervise the maintenance of cash & Bank account , financial obligations are covered with adequate funds, ensure payments are validated, signed and released to suppliers on time, cash and bank / loans ledger are reconciled, Bank charges are validated and accurately recorded in proper ledger account, LG’s / LCs & SBLC are maintained properly, KPI’s are respected and enforced… in order to ensure information availability and accuracy.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits to ensure that accurate and timely information is provided at all times.
- Prepare reports from statistical and functional metrics related to spending volume and nature, covenants ratios, financials obligations and cash position & charges according to stated schedules so that all required information is available for review in a timely manner.
- Ensure that the cut-off dates are met, general ledger accounts are closed and adjustments made in accordance with the established period end calendar and ensure cash / bank accounts are reconciled payments are released to vendors on time and accurate & VAT / Withholding tax is treated properly and according to country regulation, and continuously update the accounting manual to keep the team aware of any changes in regulation and VAT / Withholding tax and accounting classification for expenses.
- Validate, review and ensure the accuracy of financial data (banks, loans, charges, FOREX etc..) by identifying, investigating and rectifying routine errors and anomalies in input data, maintaining clean & reconciled bank & loan accounts, so that the company remains aware of its financial position on an ongoing basis and statutory reports can be produced within legislative time limits.
- Ensure high level of customer service is delivered and maintained and that internal customers are satisfied by meeting all internal SLA’s and by following up on requests in a timely manner.
- Assist in managing and developing team members to ensure that the department has the required knowledge and efficiency.
Qualifications
