Job description
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL entries).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports .
  • Monitor project costs and ensure accurate expense allocation.
  • Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and petty cash .
  • Prepare and submit tax returns in compliance with Egyptian tax laws .
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and accounting standards .
  • Support audits and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation .
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis .
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance , or related field.
  • Experience : 5+ years in accounting , preferably in construction / contracting .
  • Technical Skills :
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
  • Knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards & tax regulations .
  • Soft Skills :
  • High accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail .
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills .
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with project-based accounting & cost tracking .
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or construction-specific software).
  • Certifications (CPA, CMA, IFRS) are a plus.
  • Experience preparing financial statements for construction / engineering projects .
