SAP Data Migration Lead

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a ⁠SAP Data Migration Lead for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services.

This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the SAP data migration strategy, ensuring alignment with business and project requirements
• Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and technical teams to define data migration scope and requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across SAP and legacy systems.
• Manage data cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities.
• Develop and execute data migration plans, schedules, and test strategies.
• Utilize SAP migration tools (LSMW, BODS, Migration Cockpit, etc.) to ensure efficient data movement.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration.
• Conduct data reconciliation and validation to confirm successful migration.
• Provide guidance and support to the team on best practices in SAP data migration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business continuity and minimal disruption during migration.
• Document migration processes, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
