The Senior Architect Lighting Design Support plays a crucial role in defining and implementing lighting strategies across various projects. Responsibilities include :
Collaborating with architects and designers to develop innovative lighting concepts that enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of spaces.
Conducting lighting calculations and analyses to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Providing technical support and guidance in the selection of lighting fixtures, controls, and systems.
Coordinating with vendors and manufacturers to procure lighting products that meet project specifications.
Reviewing and revising lighting designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conducting on-site evaluations and assessments to ensure proper installation and performance of lighting systems.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in lighting technology and design.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
3-5 years’ experience in the same field.
The portfolio is a must.
Proficiency in lighting design software, such as Dialux, Relux, or similar tools.
Experience with 3D modeling and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Photoshop, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, 3Ds MAX).
Strong knowledge of lighting principles.
Familiarity with lighting codes, standards, and regulations.
