Daily Warehouse Operations :
Oversee Receiving, Storing, and Shipping :
- Supervise the accurate and timely receipt of incoming shipments, including verifying quantities and inspecting for damages.
- Ensure proper storage of goods, optimizing warehouse space and maintaining organization.
- Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of orders, ensuring they are processed accurately and dispatched on time.
Manage Workflow and Schedules :
Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, assigning tasks to team members based on workload and priorities.Monitor workflow to ensure efficiency and adjust schedules as needed to meet operational demands.Inventory Control and Management :
Inventory Accuracy :
Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring real-time updates for all inventory movements.Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.Stock Replenishment :
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to reorder supplies and materials as needed to prevent stockouts.Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory to facilitate easy retrieval and reduce picking errors.Team Supervision and Development :
Staff Management :
Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance on best practices and operational procedures.Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide regular feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement.Staff Scheduling :
Create and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet operational requirements, including overtime management as needed.Handle time-off requests, attendance tracking, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.Safety and Compliance :
Enforce Safety Standards :

Education :
High school diploma or equivalent.Additional certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse management are preferred.Experience :
