This position is based in Ireland.
A broad term often encompassing both light and commercial vehicle mechanics. Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs all types of motor vehicles. Performs scheduled maintenance, identifies and resolves mechanical / electrical issues, and ensures vehicles are roadworthy and safe.
Key Duties :
- Inspect, test, and service vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure vehicles meet roadworthiness and safety standards.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.Vocational training or apprenticeship in automotive technology.Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE).Proven experience as a motor vehicle technician.Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools.Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems.Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.Valid driver's license.Benefits
