We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Automation pre sales and commissioning Engineer to support the sales team by providing technical expertise, solution design, and customer-focused presentations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between customer needs and automation solutions, ensuring alignment between product capabilities and business requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate automation solutions (PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, etc.).
- Analyze RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Design system architecture diagrams and solution presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and site visits when needed.
- Liaise with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure solution feasibility and accurate costing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automation technologies, vendor products (e.g., Siemens) and industry trends.
- Prepare technical documentation, compliance matrices, and client-facing materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants, and OEM partners.
- Support the transition of successful bids to the project execution team.
- Attend trade shows, technical events, and customer workshops as a technical representative.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.3–5 years of experience in automation engineering, pre-sales, or technical support.Strong knowledge of automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI), communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Profibus, etc.).Experience in technical proposal writing and solution design.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and preferably EPLAN or similar design tools.BENEFITS
