Job description

About the role :

We are looking for passionate, creative, analytical, and experienced candidates for the position of Data and AI Presales Consultant. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the company has a healthy pipeline.
  • Developing new markets and improving sales.​
  • Present and demo latest technology for Data & AI
  • Maintain key business relationships with Vendors particularly.
  • Supporting marketing initiatives to attract new clients to GBG and develop existing accounts.
  • Training, supporting, and mentoring colleagues on how to identify and develop data & AI opportunities.
  • Understand the client’s business and technical requirements.
  • Be an Expert – You’ll present and sell the latest technologies. You’ll effectively communicate and present the GBG services and solutions value proposition to all executive levels of an organization.
  • Build New Relationships – You’ll sell to new clients while deepening your relationships with existing clients in order to become their trusted advisor for repeat business.
  • Ensure customer success and satisfaction.
  • Assist in training and adoption of technologies and services for internal and client teams.
  • Propose and implement new innovative offerings.
  • Keep track of business opportunities on GBG's CRM system.
  • Drive opportunities from lead generation all the way to closure.
  • Participate in and support sales meetings.
  • Attend events / conferences and support marketing efforts by contributing to case studies and social media.
  • Prepare High-Level and low-level architecture for Data & AI Solutions
  • Prepare technical proposals for Data & AI projects
  • An expert in at least one of all of the following, Microsoft, AWS and / or Open-source tech for Data & AI Solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • A college degree is a must, and an MBA is a plus.
  • Technical / Pre-Sales Certifications preferred. Will be required to pass and maintain Technical / Pre-Sales certifications.
  • 5+ years of experience preferred inData warehousing.data analysis, wrangling, and quality using T-SQL and Python.Data modelling tools ex. Erwin (preferred).SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, DAX and MDXOther data integration tools like ODI, Informatica, and Talend (preferred).Power BI.Other data visualization and analytics tools like Tableau, Big Query, Quick Sight and Qlik.Experience with Microsoft Azure Ecosystem, including but not limited to Azure SQL and Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Analysis Services.Microsoft FabricOpenAI, LLM
