POS Integration Engineer (Micros, Foodics)

Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Design, build, and maintain real-time integrations with Oracle Micros, Foodics, Comsys, Crystal Mind, Simple Touch, and other POS platforms.
  • Sync menu, order, payment, and inventory data via REST APIs, webhooks, and polling.
  • Implement retry, failover, and data-validation mechanisms to ensure consistency.
  • Troubleshoot production issues; provide root-cause analysis and fixes.
  • Author clear integration documentation and merchant onboarding guides.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years in software integration or backend development; 1+ years focused on POS integrations.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

    • Must-Have Skills :

  • Proven integration experience with  Oracle Micros and  Foodics .
  • Hands-on work integrating  Comsys ,  Crystal Mind ,  Simple Touch , and other POSs.
  • Strong proficiency in  JavaScript and  TypeScript .
  • Production experience with  NestJS or  Express .
  • Deep understanding of REST, and WebSocket patterns.
  • Familiarity with message-queue systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
