Job Purpose :
- To plan, design, execute and report on testing tasks using appropriate bank testing tools, IT SIT strategy techniques and conforming to IT Test framework and IT SDLC.
- To write test cases / scenarios for assigned project / tasks based on the signed off functional specification documents
- To ensure that testing is on track with the agreed plans and timelines
- To ensure the testing scope is matching with the scope of the Project / BRDs.
- To escalate to the designated team, lead in case of urgent matters.
- To raise testing defects for any system misbehavior issues (deviation from the requirements).

Requirements
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities :
Coach and mentoring for team members.Identify, diagnose and report on system errors and misbehavior.Co-ordinate a team of Test Leads responsible for delivery of specific test plans, projects and script execution.Executes various test cases using Bank IT Test agreed methods and standards.Produces test execution reports on system quality and metrics.Report test schedules and plans to the Head of Testing.Drive continuous improvement in the ‘completeness’ of the testing environments, proactively undertaking gap analysis, updates and test data definition / set-up.Facilitate the development, implementation and compliance of testing standards.Utilize testing knowledge and experience to assess and advice on the practicality of testing process alternatives.Identify improvements to the test processes and assists in their implementation.Ensure that any risks associated with the agreed test strategy and the system test plan are clearly documented, described and communicated to the business.Manage all risks associated with the testing and takes preventative action as required.Establish and evolve a set of testing scripts across testing phases / cycles that reflect real world business and operational scenarios).Help IT developers to understand the defects reported.Attend meetings related to the projects / tasks in hand.Adhere to IT communicated projects priorities.On need basis, work extra hours after the normal business hours.On need basis; work weekend and or during public holidays.Manage multiple tasks as per the priority assigned by the testing head.Prepares and maintains test plans and test scripts.Support Business users during the test cases Preparation & Execution.Qualifications & Experience :
3 years of experience working in an international banking IT environment.
5 years of testing services experience within Financial Services.
