Job Description

• This is the highest position of the General Department of Economic Indicators, under the Central Department of Informatics and Indicators.
• The candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, deriving ICT-related economic and infrastructure indicators, and carrying out regional and international comparisons. Basic Skills - Able to monitor the identification of ICT-related economic studies, to be carried out in collaboration with international institutions, leading experts, and relevant local authorities.
• Able to supervise and monitor the identification of critical issues and topics within the ICT sector that need to be studied and analyzed, such as revising the sector’s contribution to the gross domestic product (GDP) and reviewing and auditing foreign direct investment data in the sector, and conducting other key analysis, to obtain accurate figures reflecting its growth and development.
• Able to supervise and monitor the identification of global methodologies for calculating certain ICT indicators, such as Internet users, computer numbers, and price indices for services, among others, and leverage their application in Egypt. Technical Skills -Able to lead, direct, develop plans and programs, and monitor their implementation. - Possess strong communication and negotiation skills. - Able to manage time effectively and handle work pressures. Years of Experience At least one year in a position of the preceding level (level A) or a total of 17 years of experience in a similar role. Undergo the training necessary to perform work efficiently and effectively and to acquire the skills necessary to advance to a higher position.
