Grand Technology is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Cairo, Egypt . This is a full-time position offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis.

Responsibilities :

Manage and oversee all aspects of the general ledger, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.
Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting, providing valuable insights to management for decision-making.
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.
Support external audits and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly preferred.

Proven experience of 4+ years as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in relation to UK-English accounting standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
