Job descriptionLead the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge Android applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Work closely with product teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver state-of-the-art mobile solutions. Utilize best practices in coding to create clean, maintainable, and efficient codebases, advocating for code quality throughout the team. Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating new technologies and methodologies to enhance app performance and user experience. Collaborate with UI / UX designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Monitor app performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions quickly to ensure seamless user experiences. Participate in the development of testing strategies to ensure the reliability and stability of applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Android app development.
- Proficient in Kotlin and the Android SDK; familiarity with Java is a plus.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI / UX design principles and best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance-related issues.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum is preferred.
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Espresso) is an advantage.
