Pixelogic Media Partners, LLC provides distribution services and technology solutions to the entertainment industry. We help studios, broadcasters and digital retailers localize and distribute their feature and episodic titles to global audiences on-time and with superior quality.

Our service offerings cover end-to-end workflows including language services such as scripting, subtitling, access services, dubbing, text and metadata localization in over 50 languages. Our technical services master and prepare this content in all distribution products including digital cinema, digital media and physical media (Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD).

To date, we serviced thousands of titles for iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, Movies Anywhere and others. We also authored thousands of Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD titles. Our research and development team works on cutting-edge technologies such as 4K, high dynamic range (Dolby Vision, HDR10+), artificial intelligence and machine learning, software automation and our proprietary end-to-end operating platform branded as pHelix.

Responsibilities

Implement the CI pipeline.
Help spread DevOps practices to all squads.
Configure and fine-tune Cloud infrastructure systems.
Collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into production.
Provide support to development teams that use the automated infrastructure.
Provide a fully automated and extremely reliable environment for high availability systems.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience.

Computer Science degree or equivalent.

Demonstrated passion for learning new technologies.

Strong consistency and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate and self-manage.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Solid foundation in computer science.

Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives.

Ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.

Must have a demonstrated experience troubleshooting problems and working with a team to resolve large scale production issues.

Requirements

Commanding knowledge of Unix / Linux.

Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python. etc)

Experience with version control systems (Git),

Experience with designing, developing and testing automated deployment tools. (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)

Experience with Configuration Management (Puppet, Ansible)

Experience working with build tools like Maven and Gradle.

Operational knowledge of Nginx, Tomcat.

Familiarity with REST APIs, and SOAP XML.

Strong knowledge on RDBMS & NoSQL databases administration.

Familiarity with NodeJS, Json and Yaml.

Strong understanding of Network fundamentals (Networking Protocols, Firewalls, Load Balancing).

Experience working with Containerization technology (Docker)

Preferred basic knowledge with Orchestration tools (e.g., Docker Swarm, Kubernetes).

Experience working with AWS.

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Pingdom, NewRelic).

Preferred basic knowledge of Application, Network and Systems security.
