Manager, Media QC Operations

Job Summary :

The Manager – Media QC is responsible for leading the Quality Control team to ensure the highest standards of media content delivery across all platforms. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, people management, operational planning, and quality assurance to maintain service excellence and meet client specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise day-to-day QC operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of QC tasks.
• Track and analyze individual and team performance metrics to identify trends and performance gaps.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Develop, document, and regularly update SOPs for all QC workflows and processes.
• Ensure consistent implementation and compliance with SOPs across all QC teams.
• Implement preventive measures to reduce recurring issues.
• Implement corrective action plans where needed.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical inquiries and QC issues.
• Forecast workload and resource requirements based on delivery timelines and incoming projects.
• Optimize team scheduling to maintain operational efficiency and avoid bottlenecks.
• Recommend staffing changes based on business needs.
• Maintain quality KPIs and share insights with senior leadership.
• Prepare and maintain detailed QC checklists for various content types.
• Identify and report any risks, bottlenecks, or deviations from schedule, proposing mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Assess staffing needs and participate in hiring qualified QC operators.
• Conduct technical interviews and skill evaluations for potential hires.
• Develop and lead comprehensive training programs for new and existing QC staff.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
