Planning Specialist

The Planning Specialist is responsible for preparing and managing plans and schedules that ensure the right materials, resources, and timelines are in place to meet operational and business needs. This includes using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to coordinate supply and demand, monitor inventory levels, and align activities across departments. The role ensures that all planning activities support timely execution, cost efficiency, and high customer satisfaction

• Develop, update, and optimize production and material plans to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, quality, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and production readiness.
• Monitor MRP system outputs and adjust production and procurement plans based on demand changes, inventory levels, and lead times.
• Dynamically adjust schedules and material plans in response to urgent requirements, delays, or supply disruptions.
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to production performance, inventory status, and material usage.
• Rack and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including production efficiency, material availability, inventory turnover, and downtime.
• Education : A degree in Industrial Engineering or supply chain.
• Certifications : CPIM, MITx Supply Chain Micro Masters are plus.
• Experience : 0–2 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or related roles.
