Job description

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a ⁠⁠⁠SAP Production Planning Consultant for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services.

This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP PP solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Provide expert-level support for existing SAP PP functionalities.
  • Conduct requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals.
  • Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PP related issues.
  • Collaborate with other SAP modules to ensure seamless integration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP releases, enhancements, and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on SAP PP processes.
  • Participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Contribute to process improvements and optimization initiatives within production planning.
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects related to SAP PP.
  • Work with various PP functionalities like Demand Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, Production Orders, Shop Floor Control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of production planning processes, including planning strategies, MRP, capacity planning, and shop floor control.
  • Expertise in master data management (MDM) within SAP PP.
  • Experience with SAP PP sub-modules (e.g., Demand Management, MRP, Capacity Planning, Production Orders).
  • Proficiency in ABAP debugging and basic programming is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
