Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a SAP Production Planning Consultant for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services.
This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.
Responsibilities :
- Design, configure, and implement SAP PP solutions to meet business requirements.
- Provide expert-level support for existing SAP PP functionalities.
- Conduct requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PP related issues.
- Collaborate with other SAP modules to ensure seamless integration.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP releases, enhancements, and best practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP PP processes.
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
- Contribute to process improvements and optimization initiatives within production planning.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects related to SAP PP.
- Work with various PP functionalities like Demand Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, Production Orders, Shop Floor Control.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration and implementation.Strong understanding of production planning processes, including planning strategies, MRP, capacity planning, and shop floor control.Expertise in master data management (MDM) within SAP PP.Experience with SAP PP sub-modules (e.g., Demand Management, MRP, Capacity Planning, Production Orders).Proficiency in ABAP debugging and basic programming is a plus.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Benefits
