System Engineer

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a System Engineer for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.

This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Automotive Domain
• Experience with customer facing, electrical, software or systems design
• Experience. A minimum two (2) years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Technical Writing / Requirements Specification / Presentation
• Ability to perform analysis of customer requirements, business, regulatory, compliance, and standards requirements to extract and derive system level requirements.
• Familiar with standards that govern certifications and approvals for products.
• Familiar with ISO, EPA, FCC, ETSI, Apple, BT, SXM, MOST, RDS, etc.
• Good knowledge of Requirements Management process and tools
• Design processes / methodologies Reuse strategies System modeling technique (e.g. using UML or other SDL)
• Knowledge of typical end-to-end product development process
• Experience in Architectural Impact Analysis / Feasibility Assessment
• Product and Subsystem Performance KPI identification, estimation, and measurement
• System Modeling (SySML) System Resource Budgeting
• Embedded Operating Systems and Frameworks (Android, Linux)
• Software architecture development; software modeling
• Hardware architecture development; hardware modeling
• Good Leadership skills
• Good Presentation skills
• Must have working level knowledge as applicable to IVI for (BT / WiFi / AM / FM / SXM) Network Fundamentals (ex. Ethernet, TCP / IP, CAN, MOST,USB)"
