Job Description

Role Purpose

The Senior FP&A will be responsible for driving financial insights that shape strategic decisions at Naqla. This role will manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to ensure optimal resource allocation, profitability, and growth. The role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide actionable analysis and strengthen financial discipline across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling outlooks.
  • Develop financial models to evaluate business performance, new initiatives, and investment opportunities.
  • Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to guide decision-making in a dynamic environment.

Business Partnering & Insights

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights on revenue, cost drivers, and profitability.
  • Partner with Operations, Commercial, and Product teams to align financial goals with business strategy.
  • Prepare management reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Performance Management

  • Monitor key business metrics and financial performance vs. plan.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and support cost optimization initiatives.
  • Provide insights on customer, product, and route profitability analysis.
  • Strategic Projects & Decision Support

  • Support fundraising, investor reporting, and board presentations.
  • Contribute financial analysis for pricing, new services, and strategic partnerships.
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, tools, and systems.
  • Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (FMVA, CFA is a plus).
  • 6–8 years of relevant FP&A or finance experience, preferably in technology, logistics, or high-growth industries.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; advanced Excel and proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, business KPIs, and valuation concepts.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex financials into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with strong problem-solving skills.
